Chaste tree
WHAT IS CHASTE TREE?
Chaste tree, a.k.a. chaste lamb, monk's pepper, Vitex agnus-castus, or simply Vitex, is a medicinal plant that belongs to the labiates family. Back in ancient times, the shrub's fruits, which can grow up to six meters high, were valued for their medicinal purposes.

WHAT DOES THE HERB ACTUALLY DO?
Chaste tree is reported to regulate female hormones and relieve the suffering of PMS (premenstrual syndrome). It is also medically recognized to treat irregular cycles (whether too frequent or too infrequent). It can alleviate symptoms that usually occur a few days before one’s period (e.g., breast pain or menstrual cramps) as well as those typically experienced in menopause (reducing hot flashes, nervousness, and concentration problems).
